  • Through an evidence based approach, conduct a needs analyses and use the findings to effectively prescribe and monitor tailored exercises and exercise programmes to successfully develop the physical capabilities of patients.
  • Describe, conduct, demonstrate and coach key exercises, such as the squat and its variations, to ensure safe and effective utilisation with patients.
  • Analyse and provide corrections, regressions and progressions of the key exercises in order to tailor feedback for patients so that they conduct exercises in a safe and effective manner.
  • Improve your confidence in applying the principles of exercise prescription for all patients without relying on expensive or complicated gym equipment which is not often available to most healthcare professionals.

This course is designed for healthcare and exercise professionals, or those nearing graduation, who need to develop their ability to prescribe exercise using an evidence-based approach in order to enhance the physical capabilities of their patients.

Online Learning Prior To Face-To-FaceOnline

Face-To-Face Training

This will be a very practically driven day, based on applying theory into practice, through exercise, coaching and fun!

  • We will get you under the bar, improving your own technique whilst developing your coaching skills to correct exercise execution.
  • You will consider the use of warmups, and how to tailor these to specific rehab protocols.
  • We will use case studies to bring theoretical principles to life, allowing you to clinically reason a rehab programme, no matter the end-goal.
  • We will conduct needs analyses, the corner stone of exercise prescription, to assess strength and power, and then develop tailor made programmes for your clinical population.
  • We will develop your progression and regression assessment and implementation skills
